find the best accommodation

We had a small cycling meeting with a group and planned a route from Cheb via Mariánské Lázně and Plana towards Tachov. Camping Karolina came up as a stop along the way, so the plan was simple: spend one night, get on your bikes in the morning and continue on. The campsite is located between Plana and Tachov, a short distance from the cycle path, so it makes sense as a point on a similar route.

But something just happened, we had a few beers in the evening and the next day no one felt the need to rush anywhere. In the end, we stayed until Sunday. 😄

We didn't plan on having any special facilities for cyclists. We booked a cabin, there was plenty of space, and we simply stored our bikes there. No big deal.

In the evenings we went to the pub and chatted with the owner. He is funny, has plenty of stories and there is definitely no silence at the table with him. The planned one-day stop turned into a whole weekend.

We already have Karolina saved among West Bohemian stops for other cycling events. Next time maybe "just for one night". 

We really enjoyed our weekend at Pacho Camp. We have been to various camps before, but this one is definitely one of the best we have visited. The environment is very pleasant, everything feels relaxed and especially our children were excited. We think this is a great place for families with children, because the children will have fun here and the adults will also relax. We would love to go here again sometime.

Na Bohemian-Moravian Highlands We wanted to combine our trip with a night in Litomyšl and the apartment with a terrace was the perfect fit. In the morning we opened the door, sat outside with our coffee and had a nice view of the city. No luxury for show, but comfortable and well-maintained accommodation where everything works as it should.

The apartment was spacious, the bathroom clean, the bed comfortable and in the evening you could walk through the historical center. The advantage is also the restaurant right in the house, so we didn't have to drive anywhere after returning. For us, a great base for Litomyšl and the surrounding area, especially if you want to be close to the center and at the same time sit on your own terrace for a while in the morning.

This was our first time at Keramica this year, even though we had heard about the camp a few times from friends. We didn't really go there with any high expectations, because reviews on the internet are sometimes a big mess. 😄 But in the end we were really satisfied.

What we enjoyed the most was the location right next to the dam. In the morning we usually went for a short walk around the water, then swimming, relaxing at the cottage and depending on the mood, a trip around the area. Exactly the type of vacation where after two days you stop wondering what day it is.

The area seemed well-maintained, we didn't miss anything essential and the staff was completely fine. No excessive fuss, normal communication and when we needed something, it was no problem.

The atmosphere at the campsite was also nice. You could sit down in the evening, have something good and just switch off. Not a luxury resort for effect, but honest campsite by the water, where we felt good. Feel free to come back again. 👍

We were at a concert at Camp Keramika and the atmosphere was really good. There were young people, old people, families, just everyone who wanted to enjoy the summer a little. We are from the Pilsen region, so we don't have it to Hracholusky over half the country, but it's still worth getting out of town for a few days. Water and peace during the day, music in the evening, people around, good mood. Exactly the kind of summer "turn off your mind". So far, a great summer. Thanks, Keramiko campsite! 🤘

We came for four days hiking and left very satisfied. The room was clean, comfortable and with a private bathroom. We appreciated the equipped kitchen and the common room where we sat in the evening after our trips. There are many beautiful trails in the area and we really liked that the forest starts right behind the house. The owners were pleasant and willing to advise where to go. The only minor thing was the weak Wi-Fi in our room, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

We went to Bystrý mainly for swimming and trips through the Orlické Mountains. The environment is very pleasant, forests around, a quieter village and the area feels somehow homely. Only in the main season the pool was quite crowded, so those who expect complete peace and a place just for themselves must take into account the reality of a summer swimming pool. 🙂 But our son didn't mind at all, we could hardly get him out of the water, he even forgot his lunch and said that the fries would wait. In the end, we enjoyed our stay, but next time we might choose a date outside the biggest weekend rush.

Never again, the roar, it was impossible to sleep. We went with a small child, I think that there should be night silence from 10:00 PM and the roar of the Anakonda group is terrible.

We spent a long weekend here with friends and were pleasantly surprised. During the day we went on trips around Highlands, we also visited the nearby Sedlice water reservoir, and in the evening we enjoyed a barbecue and sitting by the pond. The environment is beautifully maintained and you feel like you have completely disconnected from the usual hustle and bustle for a few days. We also liked the common room, which we used when the weather was bad. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday in nature.

We were looking for Highlands a place where children can take a break from their mobile phones and be outside all day. We hit the mark. Of course, the horses and other animals were the biggest success, but we also liked the pond, evening sitting by the fireplace and the overall peace. The apartment was clean, well equipped and we didn't miss anything. I also appreciate the pleasant behavior of the owners. You just need to take into account that the farm is really isolated, so it's better to go by car for larger purchases.
