Camping Karolina near Planá and Tachova is not about big attractions and crowded beaches. Instead, it offers a combination of the peaceful environment of the Bohemian Forest, plenty of space and facilities that will be appreciated by both families with children and more active visitors. The area features an outdoor pool, places for tents and caravans, and equipped cottages, while the surrounding area is attractive for cycling trips and hiking trails without the crowds of tourists.

💬 Family with children - We spent a week at the campsite during the summer holidays and were satisfied. The children enjoyed the pool and playground, and we enjoyed the quiet environment without crowds. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the staff was willing to give advice. We also praise the possibility of trips around the area. We will definitely be happy to come back here.
💬 Caravaners - We were looking for a quiet place for a few nights and Karolina fulfilled exactly what we expected. Large pitches, plenty of privacy and a pleasant atmosphere. We were also pleased with the quality facilities for caravans and a shower with hot water available free of charge 24/7. The campsite was quiet in the evening, which is not a given these days.
💬 Cyclists with a dog - For us, Karolina was the ideal base for cycling trips around the Bohemian Forest. The dog was welcome and there are plenty of opportunities for walks around the campsite. The apartment was modern and very well equipped. The cabins are simpler and it is clear that they have something behind them, but they serve their purpose without any problems. The only thing that may surprise someone is the somewhat broken access road in places, which is not something that the campsite operator could influence, so we do not take this as a minus of the campsite.

The worst campsite! If you don't want to waste money, don't go, the playground is almost falling apart and dangerous, built by an amateur and rotten, so there's nothing for children there at all. Swimming Pool cold that you can't even get into it. The owner is an arrogant man, he was even mean to the children, they don't care about it at all. Then he started burning paper boxes and ash everywhere on the cars and he didn't care. Sitting at the pub seemed neglected to us and a kinder egg for 60 CZK? He doesn't mean it seriously.. The mobile home is smelly, musty, everything is falling apart. This wasn't a vacation but a horror, never again!!!
We are returning here with our grandchildren, for the fifth time this year, because this Tachov campsite love. Natural playground, river, swimming pool, accommodation in a cottage, peace, quiet, hot water all day, clean, pleasant owners. We will definitely come again next year! For 8 😃
This The campsite is an absolute gem.. It is located right in the forest, surrounded by nature and there is incredible peace and quiet. The wonderful atmosphere and harmony with nature is underlined by the stream that flows right next to the campsite. But what really got us were the owners themselves, their children and the other staff. The whole family is incredibly nice, helpful and they take care of the campsite literally as if it were their own child. Everywhere is perfectly tidy and clean. And most importantly, it is absolutely perfect place for dog walkers. Our Arnoldek was most welcome here. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay and we will be happy to come back to you.
