New caravan sites have opened at the Opatovický pond. Summer is filling up fast
Caravanning has experienced a huge boom in recent years, and campsites by the water are often among the first to be occupied during the season. At Sportkamp Doubí in the Třeboň region therefore they responded by expanding capacity for motorhomes and caravansThe new parking spaces were created directly in a quieter part of the area under the trees by the Opatovický pond and there are also electrical connections.
According to the operator Mr. Klaboch, the new places are suitable not only for classic summer stays, but also for fishermen, families with children or guests looking for a longer rest by the water. "Caravanners today are often looking for a combination of a quiet environment, shade and facilities right by the water. That is why we decided to expand the capacity," adds the operator of Sportkemp Doubí.
The new caravan sites have been in operation since April and the first reservations for the main season are increasing rapidly, according to the campsite.

Sportkemp Doubí is located in South Bohemia directly at Opatovice pond on the outskirts of Třeboň and has long been a popular place for a summer vacation by the water. The total capacity of the campsite is up to 800 people, including their own tents, caravans and trailers. However, according to the operator, interest is growing, especially for places right by the water.
"Despite the large number of campsites, our guests often asked us about pitches as close to the water as possible. That's why this year we decided to invest in new sites with electrical connections and expand the entire facility," says the operator of Sportkemp Doubí, Mr. Klaboch.
